The Miniature Inertial Measurement Unit (MIMU) is a three-axis strapdown inertial measurement unit designed for the satellite and deep space probe market. The radiation hardened design supports 15-year missions and features Honeywell ring laser gyroscopes and optional Honeywell QA3000 accelerometers. Long-term rate bias performance is better than 0.02 deg/hr with velocity tracking capabilities up to 25gs. The I/O is Mil-Std-1553 and RS422. Input power options range from 28V to 100Vdc. MIMU has a long successful flight heritage since 1997 with over 500 MIMUs delivered and deployed throughout the solar system.
