For more than five decades, we have designed, developed and integrated RVSM (Reduced Vertical Separation Minima) compliant Air Data Systems on fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft.
We provide the entire system including probes, sensors, electronics and software. We also integrate our own air data modules (ADMs) or analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) and probes from industry-leading suppliers. Our systems provide critical flight parameters and work easily with aircraft systems via 429 or 1553. Typical components of air data systems are total air temperature (TAT) probes, angle of attack (AOA) vanes and probes, Pitot probes, Pitot Static probes, multi-function probes (MFP) and outside air temperature (OAT) probes.
Honeywell Air Data Systems can:
- Reduce system integration costs when buying air data electronics and probes in addition to inertial reference systems and flight controls or cockpit avionics systems.
- Minimize contractual costs with a provider who supplies and integrates electronics and probes.
- Optimize the performance of the Air Data System since all design responsibilities lie within Honeywell purview.
