Honeywell has a long history of successfully designing Reaction Wheel Assemblies (RWAs) to meet customers’ requirements. With more than 1,800 RWAs presented for launch and 139 million hours of on-orbit life, Honeywell has the largest fleet of ultra-high reliability RWAs flying today.  

Starting in the late 1990s, Honeywell developed our Constellation Series RWA offering modular mechanical and electrical subassemblies to accommodate multiple customer applications with expansion capability within a spacecraft bus. These capabilities cover a range of output torque from 0.12 Nm to 1.2 Nm and momentum from 4NMS to 250 NMS.
