GoDirect Data Control enables users of the JetConneX satellite communications network, powered exclusively by Honeywell’s JetWave satellite communications hardware, to limit the bandwidth consumed by video streaming without negatively affecting the customer experience.

The Honeywell system lets operators control the amount of bandwidth that streaming video consumes, enabling them to use less-expensive data plans while still delivering quality video conferencing and entertainment to the aircraft cabin. This provides a significant cost benefit to operators and ensures that adequate bandwidth is available for all onboard network, voice and data traffic.
